Hainan Releases 8 Premium Red Tourism Routes
Hainan launched an online red culture and tourism promotion and released 8 premium red tourism routes on the 'Cool Travel Hainan' platform.
In order to deeply explore the connotations of the Qiongya revolutionary culture, the Hainan Provincial Department of Tourism, Culture, Radio, Television and Sports recently launched the Hainan red culture and tourism online promotion activity themed "A Century of Red on Qiongya · Surging Tides of the Free Trade Port," and, relying on the "Cool Tour Hainan" platform, released 8 premium red tourism routes.
The 8 premium red tourism routes are divided into three distinctive themes — "red + green," "red + blue," and "red + blue + green" — balancing red culture education, blue coastal experiences, and green eco-tourism, with suggested tour durations ranging from one-day tours to six-day tours.
The "red + green" routes link red sites such as the Memorial Park of the Mt. Murui Revolutionary Base and the Memorial Park of the Wuzhishan Revolutionary Base, connecting with ecological scenes such as mountain fields and tropical rainforests; the "red + blue" routes rely on red sites such as the Qionghai Yezizhai Battle Site, the Red Detachment of Women Memorial Park, the Hainan Liberation Park at Lingao Point, the Zhang Yunyi Memorial Hall, and the Song Family Ancestral Residence, linking resources such as coastal fishing ports, aerospace science popularization, and overseas Chinese hometown old streets; the "red + blue + green" themed routes include the "Wanning · Mountain · Forest · Waves" route, the "Central Line · Red Earth and Clouds" route, and the "Round-Island · Panoramic Loop" route, among others. Tourists can, while tracing red footprints, take in the full ecological scroll of Hainan.
In addition, the electronic version of "Building Dreams Among Mountains and Seas · Red Loyalty of Qiongya — Hainan Red Tourism Handbook" has been launched on the "Cool Tour Hainan" platform. The handbook includes content such as an interpretation of the IP, introductions to the 8 premium routes, and practical travel tips, and tourists can view, download, and forward it free of charge.
Cities and counties across Hainan will also rely on patriotism education bases, revolutionary memorial venues, and so on to continuously improve study-tour supporting facilities and curriculum systems, and launch tiered and categorized red study-tour products for youth study tours, Party member and cadre education and training, and social organization team-building.
