On June 21, the Gansu Cultural Tourism Industry Chain Investment Promotion and Premium Tourism Route Presentation Conference, hosted by the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Tianshui Municipal People's Government, was successfully held in Tianshui. Grounded in the province-wide layout for the high-quality development of the cultural tourism industry chain, and taking culture as the bond and industry as the vehicle, the event aimed to showcase and promote Gansu's cultural tourism resources and quality industrial projects, build a multi-party matchmaking and collaboration platform, and jointly explore new paths for industrial upgrading and seek a new future for industrial development.
The presentation conference opened with an interpretation of the "Fuxi code," using an in-depth explanation of the spiritual essence and contemporary value of Fuxi culture to forge consensus for cooperation through cultural identity. A panoramic presentation of the province's cultural tourism resources and industry chain followed, outlining Gansu's cultural tourism map with its profound heritage, rich resources, and diverse business formats. Tianshui, Wuwei, and Gannan each gave dedicated presentations on their cultural tourism resources and industry chains, precisely showcasing their distinctive industrial formats, key investment-attraction projects, and directions for cooperation. At the event, China Tower Gansu Branch, a key partner enterprise in Gansu's cultural tourism sector, shared its experience, combining it with practical cases from its smart scenic area projects already in operation in the province to provide attendees with intuitive investment references.
The event featured a spectacular array of artistic performances: the song "Hometown of Fuxi" poignantly expressed affection for the ancestral homeland; the dance "Thousand-Hand Guanyin" recreated the magnificent charm of Dunhuang art; and the song-and-dance "I'll Sing Gansu to You" conveyed a warm invitation from the land of Longyuan, drawing rounds of applause. Outside the venue, the Gansu specialty cultural creative exhibition area bustled with people. Quality cultural creative enterprises from the Provincial Museum, the Provincial Library, Lanzhou, Qingyang, Baiyin, and Tianshui's various counties and districts made a collective appearance, fully displaying Gansu cultural tourism's fruitful achievements from resource transformation to product innovation and from cultural creativity to brand operation, making the "Auspicious Gansu" brand image perceptible, tangible, and within reach.
Focusing on key investment-attraction directions such as cultural experiences, hotels and homestays, and cultural manufacturing, this presentation conference also carefully produced display boards for key projects in Gansu's cultural tourism industry chain, intuitively presenting the construction status and investment-attraction needs of various projects to promote efficient connection between the resource side and the market side. Next, Gansu will continue to deepen the "exhibition and conference" investment model, persist in shaping tourism through culture and highlighting culture through tourism, continuously improve the industry chain, innovate integrated business formats, and optimize investment services, accelerating the building of a nationally important base for cultural inheritance and innovation and a tourist destination with domestic and international influence, so as to keep Gansu's cultural tourism industry radiating strong momentum for development.
About 260 people attended the conference, including representatives from the Gansu Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism and the Gansu Fuxi Culture Research Association; Gansu chambers of commerce from some provinces and cities nationwide; investment enterprises from key cooperating provinces and cities; travel agencies from key source markets; key cultural tourism enterprises and travel agency representatives within Gansu; and responsible officials of cultural tourism departments from various cities and prefectures and Tianshui's various counties and districts, as well as media reporters.
