Sichuan Issues Dedicated Culture & Tourism Vouchers for the Elderly and Children
From June 18, Sichuan is issuing a total of 30 million yuan in 2026 culture and tourism vouchers for elderly people and children visiting or living in the province.
The reporter recently learned from the Sichuan Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism that starting June 18, Sichuan will issue, in batches, a total of 30 million yuan in 2026 "Splendid Tianfu · Leisurely Sichuan" cultural tourism consumption vouchers to the "elderly and children" groups coming to and staying in Sichuan from across the country. The first round of vouchers will be distributed through platforms such as Cloud QuickPass (Yunshanfu), Fliggy, and Tongcheng.
These vouchers will be issued in rolling batches and time slots starting at 10:00 on June 18, on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last. The subsidy campaign runs from 10:00 on June 18 to 24:00 on July 17. Tourists from all regions can log into the "Fliggy Travel" and "Tongcheng Travel" apps, search keywords on their home pages or enter the platform's dedicated campaign pages, and claim vouchers in the voucher zone; the Cloud QuickPass voucher-claiming channel will go live in early July.
It is understood that this is the first time Sichuan has issued dedicated cultural tourism consumption vouchers for the "elderly and children" groups, focusing on covering a variety of products and services such as silver-haired tourism and long-stay vacations and youth study tourism, striving to enable every silver-haired senior and young person coming to and staying in Sichuan, along with their families, to enjoy the multiple experiences of "long-stay vacationing, study tours and study trips, and cool summer retreats." The products covered by these vouchers include: Sichuan's health-and-wellness long-stay bases, tourist resorts, and retirement resort villages; study tourism institutions (bases), red education bases, science popularization education bases, tourist attractions, cultural and museum venues, intangible cultural heritage venues, and art museums, as well as supporting nearby cultural creative sales services; and travel products such as family tours, silver-haired tours, and study tours, as well as "culture and tourism plus" package products.
