Sanya Advances Two Hotel Industry Rating Programs
A meeting was recently held on Sanya's 2026 hotel industry innovation and child-friendly (family) theme hotel and zero-waste hotel rating work.
The 2026 Sanya hotel industry innovation and upgrading and child-friendly (family) themed hotel selection work deployment meeting was recently held. Focusing on two assessment programs — child-friendly (family) themed hotels and zero-waste hotels in Sanya — the meeting deployed key tasks for innovation and upgrading, service quality improvement, and green transformation of the city's hotel industry.
At the meeting, for the child-friendly (family) themed hotel assessment work, the organizers released three-tier assessment standards — Colorful Shell, Gold Shell and Silver Shell — as well as the application process and quantified assessment rules, guiding hotels in Sanya to create distinctive family accommodation products.
The organizers also gave a systematic interpretation of the zero-waste hotel assessment rules, application process, core creation points and related support policies, and deployed the key tasks for the green and low-carbon transformation of the hotel industry in 2026. (Fu Xiongzhu)
