Guangdong Qingyuan Opens Rafting Culture & Tourism Season
On June 6, the 2026 Guangdong Qingyuan Rafting Culture and Tourism Season and the China Qingyuan International Rafting Open kicked off at Gulongxia Scenic Area, with 80 teams from 14 countries.
On June 6, the launch ceremony of the 2026 Guangdong · Qingyuan Rafting Culture Tourism Season and the 2026 China Qingyuan International Rafting Open were held at the Gulongxia Scenic Area. Eighty competing teams from 14 countries and regions around the world staged a thrilling contest of “speed and passion.”
At the launch ceremony site, Qingyuan released several “rafting+” quality routes linking rafting scenic areas, the Qingyuan Chimelong International Tourism Resort and Beijiang river cruises to build an immersive touring system; a county-level culture and tourism exhibition area was also unveiled, showcasing the city's ecological features, cultural heritage and distinctive cultural and creative achievements. During the rafting culture tourism season, Gulongxia, Huangtengxia, Xuanzhen Gorge, Bijia Mountain, Qingquan Bay and others rolled out a series of benefits for the public. (Chen Yiyao)
