Nanjing Xuanwu Summer Culture & Tourism Consumption Events Begin

From June to August, Nanjing's Xuanwu District will launch nearly 500 themed events across more than 100 malls, attractions and sports venues.

On June 9, Xuanwu District of Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, held a press briefing on its summer culture and tourism consumption activities. It was announced that Xuanwu's summer culture and tourism consumption activities officially launched that day and will run through August. Xuanwu District will focus on three distinctive consumption fields—'cultural charm and leisurely enjoyment, trend-setting debuts, and romance and fashion'—and, together with more than 100 business entities across the district including shopping malls, commercial streets, tourist attractions and sports venues, will carry out nearly 500 themed activities.

As an important area for culture and tourism consumption in Xuanwu District, the Xuanwu Lake Ring Culture and Tourism Consumption Cluster will launch the 'Midsummer YE Unending · Seven Days of Lakeside Fun' lakeside carnival on June 18, successively holding events such as the 6th Linghang Qiye Cup Dragon Boat Race and a college student basketball league. At the same time, it will upgrade and launch the 'Ticket-Led Nanjing · Enjoy the Lake Ring' themed activity, offering visitors a variety of discounts and benefits. (Tai Zijun)
