Beijing Municipal Administrative Center Supports 'AI + Culture & Tourism' Development
Beijing's Tongzhou District issued measures to support 'AI + Culture and Tourism' development and empower the district's culture and tourism industry.
The Tongzhou District Culture and Tourism Bureau of Beijing recently issued the Several Measures on Supporting the Development of 'AI Plus Culture and Tourism' in the Beijing Municipal Administrative Center (hereinafter referred to as the 'Measures'). The Measures propose to better leverage the enabling role of artificial intelligence (AI) technology for the culture and tourism industry and to promote high-quality development of the district's culture and tourism industry.
The Measures specify support for the development of vertical models for the culture and tourism industry. They encourage culture and tourism industry entities to cooperate with AI enterprises to develop large models in the culture and tourism vertical field. For culture and tourism vertical-field large model projects that complete filing in accordance with regulations and obtain market application cases, support of up to 200,000 yuan will be given. They support the development of smart culture and tourism equipment suitable for application scenarios such as tourist attractions and resorts, with support of up to 1 million yuan for those that obtain market application cases. They support the development of smart tourism management systems suitable for application scenarios such as tourist attractions and resorts, with support of up to 1 million yuan for those that obtain market application cases.
The Measures specify support for culture and tourism industry entities to apply AI technology to develop products around key projects and scenarios such as 'Millennium Canal Culture' and the 'City of Museums,' with support of up to 3 million yuan. They support the holding of 'AI plus culture and tourism' brand activities. They support enterprises or institutions in leveraging their influence to hold conferences, competitions and other activities in the 'AI plus culture and tourism' field, with support of up to 500,000 yuan.
