Hubei Promotes Premium Tourism Routes in Xi'an
The 2026 Hubei culture and tourism northwest China (Shaanxi) promotion event, themed 'Qin and Chu Charms, High-Speed Rail Travel,' was recently held in Xi'an.
The 2026 Hubei Culture and Tourism Northwest Region (Shaanxi) Special Promotion and Exchange Event, themed 'Qin Style and Chu Charm, Travel Freely by High-Speed Rail,' was recently held in Xi'an.
At the promotion conference, the organizers released the '2026 Hubei Culture and Tourism Xi'an–Shiyan High-Speed Rail Tour' premium tourist route system, covering eight themes: a five-city tour along the Xi'an–Shiyan high-speed railway, long-distance mountain-and-water wellness tours, summer getaways, Jin-Chu study tours, mountain self-driving tours, parent-child leisure, intra-provincial high-speed rail loops and cross-provincial combined tours, matching the all-season, all-age travel needs of tourists from the northwest region.
In terms of benefit-the-people policies, Hubei at the provincial level has optimized its group-tour incentive and subsidy standards and supports travel agencies in creating distinctive routes along the Xi'an–Shiyan high-speed railway; places such as Shiyan, Wuhan and Xiangyang are offering Shaanxi tourists exclusive discounts on tickets, performances, accommodation and dining; and more than 100 scenic areas and culture and tourism enterprises in Hubei have rolled out exclusive benefits. In addition, holders of the 'Qin and Chu Interdependent, Travel Hubei with Benefits' family card can tour many scenic areas in Shiyan and along the Xi'an–Shiyan high-speed railway free of charge within one year and enjoy discounts on accommodation and dining.
Hubei and Shaanxi are simultaneously strengthening mutual-benefit culture and tourism cooperation; for example, Hubei tourists who purchase the Guanzhong Plain Urban Agglomeration tourism annual card can visit more than 100 scenic areas in Xi'an, Shangluo and other places.
