Beijing-Ningxia Culture & Tourism Alliance Conference Held in Beijing

The 'Tour Ningxia, Relax Your Soul' 2nd Beijing-Ningxia Culture and Tourism Alliance Conference was recently held in Beijing, alongside the 2nd Ningxia-Beijing key-source-market promotion.

The second Beijing–Ningxia Culture and Tourism Alliance Conference, themed "Travel to Ningxia from Beijing · Give Your Soul a Holiday," was recently held in Beijing. The second Ningxia–Beijing key source market promotion activity was launched at the same time.

At the event, relevant experts offered suggestions on Ningxia's culture and tourism development from aspects such as the patterns of the high-end travel market, culture and tourism product design, and leisure culture and tourism operations. A symposium was held concurrently with the conference, at which officials of the culture and tourism departments of Ningxia's five cities promoted local resources and preferential policies, and representatives of Ningxia travel agencies and scenic areas released distinctive routes and alliance-exclusive preferential measures. Representatives of key Beijing tour operators put forward suggestions for product optimization and demands for tourist source organization, while OTA platform representatives shared consumption trends of Beijing customer groups and online operation suggestions. All parties also conducted matchmaking around matters such as route optimization, tourist source delivery, joint promotion, and collective procurement cooperation.

According to reports, from July to October, Beijing and Ningxia will successively carry out offline activities such as the "Five-Entry Parade Creative Exhibition" and "Silver-Haired Wellness Themed Marketing," covering ministry and commission offices, central state-owned enterprises, communities, universities, and targeted conference-sales scenarios. Online, they will join with Ctrip, Tongcheng, and Tuniu to launch themed routes and conduct content marketing on platforms such as Douyin, Xiaohongshu, Weibo, and WeChat Channels; offline, they will join with 30 Beijing travel agencies to carry out the "Ningxia Culture and Tourism Promotion Month" activity.

The Beijing–Ningxia Culture and Tourism Alliance was established on May 23, 2025. Driven by the alliance, in 2025 Ningxia added approximately 300,000 visitors from the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, spurring economic consumption of more than 100 million yuan. Next, the alliance will deepen collaboration in three aspects — policy coordination, product restructuring, and market conversion — to better integrate Ningxia's culture and tourism into the Beijing source market.
