Meeting Held to Advance Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area Construction

On July 23, the Work Promotion Meeting for the Construction of the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area was held in Changsha to review the work of the previous stage, deploy key tasks, and comprehensively speed up and improve the quality of the construction of the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area. Liu Hongbing, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and head of the Publicity Department of the Provincial Party Committee, and Vice Governor Jiang Difei attended and delivered speeches.
The meeting pointed out that building the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area is a major measure for the provincial Party committee and provincial government to implement Xi Jinping Thought on Culture and answer well the "two integration propositions." Since the beginning of this year, all localities and departments have acted quickly and advanced vigorously; the top-level design has basically taken shape, departmental coordination has gained momentum, cities and counties have vied to make efforts, and projects and services have accelerated. Facing the new stage, new situation, and new tasks, it is necessary to grasp the changes in ideas and concepts, development methods, industrial forms, and linkage models, and to push the construction of the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area from the research and planning stage formally into the implementation stage of plan rollout and comprehensive execution. It is necessary to focus on key breakthroughs in key projects, products and services, and publicity and promotion, and to pay more attention to the global conversion of brand value, the precise adaptation of product supply, the full-chain connectivity of internationalized services, and breakthroughs in institutional and mechanism reform, hold fast to the bottom line of safe development, and improve the quality and efficiency of the construction of the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area.
The meeting emphasized that building the Greater Zhangjiajie International Tourism Area is a systematic project, and it is necessary to strengthen overall coordination and scheduling, firm up work responsibilities, optimize factor guarantees, deepen regional linkage, systemic linkage, government-enterprise linkage, and industry linkage, and gather the joint forces of all parties.
At the meeting, the spirit of the relevant documents was interpreted, and relevant provincial departments and some cities/prefectures, counties/cities/districts, and the travel agency association made exchange speeches.
