Greater Bay Area Tourism Promotion Held in Shanghai

On July 26, the 'Explore GBA' Greater Bay Area tourism promotion event was held in Shanghai.

On July 26, the "Explore GBA" Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area tourism promotion conference was held in Shanghai.

The event integrated multiple forms such as city promotion, enterprise resource display, influencer on-site sharing, artistic performances, and interactive lucky draws. It linked inside and outside the venue and combined online and offline, showcasing the culture and tourism features of the Greater Bay Area in a multidimensional and immersive way. Cities such as Hong Kong, Macao, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, and Foshan carried out culture and tourism resource promotion, sharing around distinctive scenic areas, themed festivals, leisure business forms, and favorable travel policies. Guangdong Chimelong Group, Chikan Ancient Town, Shenzhen Qianhai · Huafa Ice and Snow World, and quality culture and tourism enterprises from Hong Kong and Macao promoted vacation products.

At the event site, the "Explore GBA" Greater Bay Area culture and tourism publicity and promotion activity was launched, and the "multi-stop, one-journey" joint tour product of Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao was released. This product integrates quality resources such as scenic spots, vacation business forms, specialty cuisine, and intangible cultural heritage experiences in Guangdong, Hong Kong, and Macao, and has sorted out and launched multiple one-stop premium travel routes and complete travel guides suited to the needs of tourists from the Yangtze River Delta, linking fragmented culture and tourism resources into systematic, high-quality travel solutions.

In addition to on-site display and exchange inside the venue, this event also opened up an online-offline communication matrix. Outside the venue, a Greater Bay Area distinctive culture and tourism market was set up, displaying Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao cultural and creative products, specialty cuisine, Cantonese song culture, and so on; in tandem, it linked with the large screen on the Shanghai Bund to display Greater Bay Area themed promotional images, continuously releasing the Greater Bay Area's culture and tourism appeal through the city landmark.

The event was co-hosted by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture and Tourism, the Hong Kong Tourism Board, and the Macao Government Tourism Office. (Chen Yiyao)
