Qixingyan, or Seven Star Crags, takes its name from seven rock peaks in the lake arranged like the Big Dipper, and is a renowned Lingnan landscape scenic area.

The lake is broad and the peaks mirrored in it, while the caves hold cliff inscriptions from past dynasties; boating on the lake or climbing a crag to look afar reveals the beauty of Lingnan scenery.
