Guangxi Holds Study-Tour Exchange Event
Guangxi's study-tour exchange event, themed 'Follow Xu Xiake Through Guangxi,' was recently held in Hezhou.
A Guangxi study-tour tourism exchange event themed “Following Xu Xiake's Travels in Guangxi” was recently held in Hezhou.
Hosted by the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Department of Culture and Tourism, the event took the form of “product exhibition and sales + cooperation negotiations + experience sharing + on-site inspection,” aiming to seize the opportunity of the peak summer tourism season, build a platform for study-tour tourism exchanges, enrich study-tour tourism products, raise the industry's service level, vigorously attract visitors to Guangxi, and build the “Lixing Xuetang” Guangxi study-tour tourism brand.
During the event, study-tour tourism service providers from Guangxi's 14 prefecture-level cities presented more than 200 study-tour tourism products. The products had broad coverage and many highlights, including entertaining VR technology experiences, immersive city exploration routes, nature and culture experiences, intangible cultural heritage skills learning programs, red study-tour routes and ecological practice activities. The diverse products fully demonstrated the trend toward differentiated and distinctive development of Guangxi's study-tour tourism products. At the event site, the organizers promoted the “Following Xu Xiake's Travels in Guangxi” quality summer tourism routes and the “One-Click Study Tour” application; expert representatives interpreted the industry standard “Requirements for Study-Tour Tourism Services”; and representatives of the Study-Tour Tourism Branch of the Guangxi Tourism Association released an initiative for the high-quality development of study-tour tourism.
A dedicated cooperation negotiation area was also set up at the event site, where representatives of culture and tourism departments from various localities and study-tour tourism service providers held in-depth exchanges and reached a number of cooperation agreements. During the event, the guests also inspected quality study-tour tourism routes in Hezhou City, learned about local study-tour tourism resources such as natural ecology and intangible cultural heritage and folk customs, and held discussions on work such as product development and attracting visitors.
