China's Ministry of Culture and Tourism (MCT) and the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) jointly issued the Action Plan for the Integrated Development of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation, aiming to raise tourism travel service levels and broaden international and domestic tourism route coverage by 2027.
Two measures are directly relevant to charters and international routes: accelerating the launch of more inbound tourism routes and direct flights, and improving airport tourism service facilities, including dedicated areas for tour buses and tourist charters.
