Built during the Warring States period under Li Bing and his son, Dujiangyan is among the world's oldest dam-free water-diversion systems still in use, ingeniously splitting flow and flushing silt to nourish the Chengdu Plain for over 2,000 years.
The site features key works such as the Fish Mouth, Flying Sand Weir and Bottle-Neck Channel, along with the Anlan cable bridge and historic buildings.
