CAAC and Two Ministries Issue the Civil Aviation Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan Period
CAAC, the NDRC and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the Civil Aviation Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period, targeting international first-class safety, service and infrastructure by 2030 and outlining six systems covering safety, air transport services, infrastructure, innovation, green development and governance.
According to CAAC, the Civil Aviation Administration of China, the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Transport jointly issued the Civil Aviation Development Plan for the 15th Five-Year Plan period.
The plan states that by 2030 the industry's safety level, service capability and infrastructure will be among the world's first class, with major breakthroughs in technology innovation, green and low-carbon development and governance.
It outlines six systems: a solid aviation safety system; a high-quality and efficient air transport service system that is inclusive and internationalized; a coordinated infrastructure system; a self-reliant innovation support system that promotes the safe development of low-altitude civil aviation; a sustainable green development system; and a well-regulated civil aviation governance system.
