Located in Lipu, Silver Cave is a typical karst cavern. Dense, glistening white stalactites inside, resembling silver ornaments under the lights, give the cave its name, and it is a representative karst cave visit in Guilin.
Silver Cave lies in Lipu County and is one of the representative karst caves in the Guilin area. The cavern is spacious, with varied stalactites, stalagmites and stone curtains in glistening white tones.
Under colored lights the formations look like silver ornaments and crystal, which is how the cave got its name. Visits are mainly on foot, and guided commentary helps explain how the karst landforms formed; it is often combined with a Yangshuo itinerary.
